In 2020 I was commissioned by ADIDAS to create Graphics of their sponsored NBA PROs in my Art Style. These graphics were released in 2022 as part of an AVATAR PACK for all their ASIA MARKETS & eventually made their way to the US.
These were my initial rough sketches of each athlete. JAMES HARDEN, DONOVAN MITCHELL, DAMIAN LILLARD, DERRICK ROSE, & TRAE YOUNG.
My concept for the whole line of graphics, was to illustrate each athlete performing a "signature move" but like a super hero in a comic book. So each illustration would be in FORCED PERSPECTIVE, PRIMARY COLORS, FLAT BLACK SHADOWS & HIGH in MOTION. And the great part was that each PRO had to be wearing their signature PRO MODEL SNEAKER at the time.

These were the final colored Illustrations that I submitted to ADIDAS. All were DIGITALLY INKED and COLORED in ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR.
Each ATHLETE had a unique LOGO that I was able to incorporate into the graphic.
To really push the MOTION in each ILLUSTRATION, I added SPEED LINES to each LOGO. To show the FLOW OF MOTION in each DESIGN.
The FINAL GRAPHICS changed a bit to match the COLOR PALETTE of the APPAREL but overall I was really happy the way this whole project turned out.
